The felt boot/felt liner is hand-felted from 100% undyed merino wool. Comes with a practical leather strap to pull the felt boot on your foot and hang it up to dry. Some of the felt boots have a lighter leather strap than in the picture, but this does not affect the use or quality.

Used as an inner sock in combination with a overtrack or Nokian Naali winter boots or Jörn winter boots. Provides protection down to minus 40 degrees Celsius. Used by polar explorers and the military.

They are very durable and hold their shape very well. If you want extra space in your felt boots, you should go up one size from what you normally use. For example, if you have size 43 (9.5) in regular boots and use size 45 in your winter boots (Noikian Naali), size 43/44 in these felt boots will fit well. Then you get a thin sock, a thick sock and a pair of insoles in the boot.

Wool breathes, so you don’t have damp feet in these.

They are known by various names; katanka, valenki, felt slippers, wool slippers, wool feet, etc. The common thing is that it is a winter boot made of felt, which keeps the feet warm. This felt shoe is used as a boot lining in shoe covers, foot bags or ski boots. They transport moisture away from the feet and have an extremely insulating ability. Since they are made of wool, they are self-cleaning and only need to be shaken and aired regularly. They mold to the feet after a period of use. This is the optimal equipment for a winter trip.

This felt liner can be easily customized with scissors or a knife if you want a shorter shaft or just slit up the front of the felt shoe.
