Care kit for the axe

Give your ax a little extra care with the Gränsfors care kit. The kit contains a leather grease for the edge guard, an oil to lubricate the shaft and ax head and a whetstone to grind and sharpen the edge. The linseed oil consists of raw linseed oil from Sweden. When you lubricate the shaft with the oil, it forms a protective film and extends the life of the shaft. The oil is also suitable for treating the ax head with so that it does not start to rust. The leather grease is also manufactured in Sweden and contains only natural raw materials. Lubricate the edge guard for the ax with the leather grease and it will last longer. The fat also makes the leather soft and water-repellent. The ceramic edge is designed to be able to perform both a rough and a fine sharpening of the ax’s edge. Keeping your ax well sharpened makes it both more fun and safer to use.

NOTE. Be careful to take care of the cloth you used for the oil as there is a risk of spontaneous combustion. Be sure to either burn the rag immediately or save it in water before throwing it away.
