Carinthia XP II plus

Carinthias bivy bags are compact, flexible shelters that can be used instead of larger tents. Made of Gore-Tex® three-layer laminate fabric that is waterproof and allows moisture and carbon dioxide to breathe through the bag. This material makes it possible to have the pupa completely closed without suffocating.

The XP-Two Plus has a tent pole bent over the main part and the space created there provides increased comfort and also a space to have a pack for protection or easy access. Mosquito net over the face opening can be rolled away and secured with loops.

The L-shaped opening can be closed with two zippers. Specially made storm flap over the zipper that allows the pupa to remain waterproof. Five fasteners on the back to be able to hold a sleeping pad in place.

Also several fastening loops if you want to attach the pupa to the ground to be sure that everything is secure. The advantage is that you can then have the sleeping pad under the bivy bag and also protect it, without the risk of rolling off the sleeping pad during the night.

This is the closest you can get to the old “puppa” (Bivy bag) that was used by FJS (Swedish Para Rangers) since the late 80s.
