LURVLimber Utility Recon Vest

A vest designed to be used in conjunction with large backpacks on long range patrols. This is the ultimate vest for long duration special Reconaissance missions. There is MOLLE/ PALS attachment in the front and large and medium utility pouches sewn on to the sides of the LURV. It has internal pouches for maps or other flat items.  The vest is designed in cooperation with Scandinavian SOF community to work in the harsh arctic conditions.

Features: 

  • Four MOLLE columns on each front panel.
  • Flat internal pockets with zipper closure
  • Velcro for IFF marking or unit insignia.
  • Drag-handles for evacuation under each arm.
  • Drag handle for evacuation on top of back
  • Elastic cord in the kidney area for adjusting around torso.
  • SR Buckle for closure and adjustment in front.
  • Slim shoulder areas that work well with large backpacks/bergens and rifle buttstock.
  • Utility pouches on each side. They have drawstring closure under the lids to keep snow and dust outside.
  • Pouches use Swedish Nipple closure for silent open/ closure and easy use with mittens.
  • Internal canals and beltloops for belt
  • Square rings on bottom and on back for attaching buttpack and/ or dump pouch/ gas mask pouch.
